When Judi Dench was appearing in A Little Night Music and Absolute Hell, she was persuaded to appear in a cabaret/skit show for the end of the run at the National Theatre. The song she performed was Sixteen Going on Seventeen with a fellow Night Music actor, Brendan O’Hea - she performed it, again, at a Richard Rodgers tribute at Drury Lane.

Hilarious.  Also, she totally looks like Fantine in that wig, amiright?

Oh my God, brilliant. And I thought 30-something year-old Rebecca Bottone playing the role of Liesl was weird.

I really don’t get why it’s being released later in the UK…. this is where the show has been playing for over a quarter of a century.

The french dub better be fucking great, I’m telling you….
